Christine is so very proud of her Dolly and Speck that she beams in delight and absolute pleasure every time someone mentions their names.
Well Dolly and Speck are actually two adorable and cuddly miniature pinchers who over time have bonded themselves securely to the heart and affections of their owner Christine.
Dolly is female and she is an exciting two years-old dog that frisk about the home yelping excitedly whenever she is around her master, while Speck seizes every opportunity to hop onto her lap, anticipating the kissing and cuddling she will receive.
These dogs are quite a showoff in the yard where they play all day if they are not in their kennel. Their little ‘doggy romps’ will bring laughter bubbling to the lips of any viewer as they tumble about with excited yelps and merry ‘doggy banter’.
Occasionally someone either bites to hard or maybe squeeze a little too much and the disagreement begins. In most cases it is started by Speck who will growl and bare her teeth but is soon silenced by Dolly who will cock her head in confusion before nuzzling noses to settle the score in a friendly manner.
Speck is more of the worldly doggy, preening in somewhat ‘animal sophistication’ as she struts about the yard as though it’s her royal, queenly court. Ever so often she switches out of this demeanour when a stranger arrives, barking incessantly to alert her master.
According to Christine, Speck was brought from Brazil when she visited the country while Dolly was given to her as a gift by a friend. She said overtime she has grown so fond of the dogs that a deep and extremely strong connection has developed between the three.
It’s quite customary for Dolly to sit quietly and wait when the family is out, but not Speck who will howl her loneliness to the wind until the family returns. If she is not petted well when they return, a new spell of howling will begin all over again.
Christine also extends love and security to her family but sometime its as if Dolly and Speck are bent on grabbing it all.
